Description
HOW TO REPLACE A BLADE:
- Removing the old blade
- Open the secateur by pushing the safety pin.
- Using a flat tool unhook the cir-clip (A)
- Use the provided Alan key to remove the screw (B).
- The spring might need replacing. In that case usea flat screwdriver to remove the spring from its notch (C).
- Fitting the new spring
- Place the larger end of the spring around the 2 claws of the bracket (D).
- Keeping the secateur wide open press the smaller end of the spring with a screwdriver.
- Push the spring up to the notch (C) located in the handle.
- Make sure the spring is securely in place by operatingthe handle. The hancle should open fully.
- Fitting the new blade
- Reposition the blade in its place.
- Put back the screw (B) and tighten it using the provided Alan key.
- Align the pinion with the hole (A) and insert the replacement axle.
- Put the cir-clip to slot in on the axle and clip it usingan appropriate tool.
